ATTENTION PARENTS OF 11th AND 12th GRADE STUDENTS
By: president
Dear Parents:

There is a crisis at the Campus site concerning students’ attendance. Many classrooms are more than 50% EMPTY because of the high absentee rate of 11th and 12th graders.

I STRONGLY urge you to ensure that your child is attending ALL of their classes every day. These classes are necessary to ensure an on-time graduation. Parents of seniors should also note that any student who fails their current English 7 class is at risk of not graduating because it is highly unlikely that the course will be offered during the spring term.

THERE ARE ONLY 2 WEEKS LEFT IN THE FALL TERM!! If you have any questions or concerns and would like to discuss your child’s progress, please feel free to call Kathy Wiggins for 11th grade or Shernell Thomas for 12th grade at (718) 951-5941.

Sincerely,
Wanda Peakes
PTA President

Volunteers Needed!
By: president
Attention Parents!

Several student-based activities are underway this school year. Our students are enthusiastic and committed! We need parental and community support to help raise the funds that would make these activities a success.

Donations of paper goods (hot and cold cups, paper plates, napkins, etc) and individually-wrapped edibles (candies, cupcakes, chips, etc.) provide the basic materials to raise funds during the day.

Volunteers are also needed to assist in other areas such as supervising and organizing student fund raising activities.

Please contact AP Lois Flood at (718) 951-5941 at Campus to find out how you can help!
